The technological policy of Rechitsa metizny plant is directed to improve the quality of output goods, introduction of technologies and manufacture of new products, a selection of rational ways of usage of the main and subsidiary materials, increase of terms of production operation, working out competitive, various assortment under the nomenclature and heterogeneous on the price levels. The assortment caters for material possibilities and purchasing power of various strata of population, decrease of the cost price and selling price for ready-made goods at the expense of economy of power resources, using new technologies and the newest energy-saving equipment.

From 2005 to 2009 sixty-one technological processes were developed and introduced at the plant. The newest perspective technologies are: «Packaging of fasteners in cardboard tare», «chemical and thermal processing of fasteners», «Production of calibrated machine nails collated into coils», «Production of calibrated machine nails collated with polypropylene into strips».

For the purpose of increasing of fasteners sale’s volumes to Russia, the CIS and Far abroad countries the enterprise mastered the technological process « Packaging of fasteners in cardboard tare» which allowed to produce the packaging of fasteners in a convenient packing and replace the technology of fasteners’ packaging in wooden tare by cardboard one. The new packing contains not only the information about a product, but also a recognizable trade mark which was registered by Benelux countries, Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Czech, Poland, Moldova and the Russian Federation where there the production is supplied. In the result, it favours the promotion of the plant’s trade mark to metalwares consumers.

In 2008 the technological process «Phosphating of fasteners» was developed and implemented into production for corrosion-resistant protection of fasteners, in particular while processing self-tapping screws for fastening of drywall plates. The phosphatic covering gives attractiveness to fasteners, protects products from corrosion during storage and transportation time and improves adhesion of paint in places of drywall plates fastening for the further colouring.

The implementation into production of the technological process «chemical and thermal processing of fasteners» in 2008-2009 allowed automating heat treatment of self-tapping screws and wood-screws. Up to 560 tons of the thermo strengthened fasteners are produced a month at 2 automatic transfer lines of models SY-805-3 and SY-805-5.

The technological processes «Production of calibrated machine nails collated into coils», «Production of calibrated machine nails collated with polypropylene into strips» allowed producing nails used in building for special nail-driving guns.

Now 103 technological processes exist at the plant.

The implementation of new and the improvement of existing technologies allow getting certain economic effect at the enterprise. In particular, fasteners’ packaging in cardboard boxes per 25 kg instead of packaging in wooden boxes per 50 kg led to actual decrease in the cost price by 177,3 million roubles.; usage of electrolyte of bright zinc plating instead of ammine electrolyte of zinc plating lowered the cost price by 110,6 million roubles.

From 2006 to 2009 the shop for special fasteners was re-equiped: new cold-heading machines of Taiwan manufacture, two lines of chemical and thermal production processing, phosphating and automatic production packaging lines were installed.

In 2009 technical re-equipment of fasteners-making shop began. New cold-heading machines, a line of automatic packaging were established.

There is a technical department consisting of eleven engineers who work for the development and introduction of new products and technologies at the enterprise. Alexander Fedorovich Pechersky is at the head of the department.
